Specializing in traditional Samba rhythms and dance from Brazil, the Super Sonic Samba School performs with live music and dancers as well as provides open classes. Classes, held at Balboa Park on Sundays, are free of charge and for all skill levels.

Created in 1987, the San Diego Women’s Chorus works to entertain and educate the LGBT community as well as the community of San Diego. The chorus organizes two concerts per year and performs for various organizations and community events.
From Bach to jazz, this music ensemble performs a wide range of styles of music using brass instruments. The group also offers a number of educational programs such as music clinics and summer workshops.
The San Diego Men’s Chorus is a member of the Gay & Lesbian Association of Choruses and provides musical entertainment for the San Diego community. Musical performances include classical, modern, traditional American, multi-cultural, popular and gay pride material.
Devoted to showcasing music from medieval Europe, the Renaissance and Baroque periods, the San Diego Early Music Society presents a number of concerts for the community. The society only uses period instruments and carries out performances in accordance with historical practices.
